The film traces the historical development of the Protestant Church in Carinthia from the Reformation to the time of the Counter-Reformation and secret Protestantism, to the time of tolerance in the 18th century. It also shows the diversity of the diaconic work in Carinthia, which is one of the most important pillars of the Evangelical faith today. <\/h4>\n

The film shows the expulsion of Protestants at the time of the Counter-Reformation as well as, for example, the burning of heretical writings. The scenes were filmed with great effort in the open-air museum Maria Saal. <\/h4>\n
