Magnificent castles adorn the picturesque landscape in Austria’s southernmost province of Carinthia. Most of them were built in the 16th and 17th centuries and bear witness to the dawn of a new era after the decline of the Middle Ages. <\/h4>\n

“Carinthia’s most beautiful noble residences” is a cinematic excursion to the most impressive and beautiful castle buildings in the country. When the castle gates open, we immerse ourselves in the history of these stone witnesses of times gone by. The current owners guide us through the state rooms of their castles and the parks surrounding them. They tell us about their former owners, about haunted ancestors and about the great task – and sometimes burden – of preserving these cultural monuments for
future generations. <\/h4>\n
